I have to be honest and say it was really hard to resist the promises and the glamorous images of the Acai Berry Adverts.

It was everywhere you looked on the internet and I could not help but consider taking up the special offer. After all who could resist the thought of going from fat to thin simply by taking a pill that will melt all the fat without you changing your eating habits and never breaking a sweat in the gym.

But how untrue are all the claims. Turns out Acai Berry was one of the biggest diet pill  hoax of the 21st century. It contains less anti-oxidants than blue berries and black cherries and a quotes from the attorney general of Connecticut

“There is no competent scientific research that demonstrates any of the claimed effects of Acai berry, including weight loss, detoxification and increased energy and vitality”

And on Oprah’s website she said:

“Consumers should be aware that Oprah Winfrey is not associated with nor does she endorse any açaí berry product or online solicitation of such products.”

So if Oprah never endorsed it and the attorney general states there was no scientific backing for the claims made about Acai Berry, have we all been scammed? The Answer – Yes!

But what works?

My friend the only way to lose weight is to eat less, and an even better way is to eat accroding to your nutritional type. You also need to excercise. Making all these changes on your own can be challenging and often times daunting to say the least but here is where you get help.

Truly understanding that fact made it a lot easier for me to say no to take aways, MacDonald’s, kfc, pizza and the whole lot. Don’t get me wrong, I can have them if if want to but I don’t see them as a treat anymore neither do I find them irresistible.

I also have noticed that I find water more interesting, believe it or not, cold water especially. I still have fizzy drinks now and then but I now prefer water with my meals.

The general conception that hypnosis is all about waving watches, behaving like animals, and controlling people’s mind is totally false. I can tell you because I have a couple of hypnosis cds that I use on a daily basis and I am yet to do anything against my wish.

In any hypnosis session, You ARE ALWAYS in control and you CANNOT be made to do anything against your will. Ultimately, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis and a hypnotist merely facilitates your experience.

If you meet someone and they tell you that they can hypnotise you to do something, ask them to hypnotise you to rob a bank at gunpoint, if they can’t ask them to stop making ridiculous claims.
