Hypnosis is all about empowerment – empowering yourself to do the things you really want to do and making positive changes within yourself. I use hypnosis on a daily basis to enhance several aspects of my life and absolutely love it.

I see it as form of meditation because you get to focus on an area of your life or you as a person and give it 100% attention.

So what is hypnosis – The British Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis states: “hypnosis usually involves the person experiencing a sense of deep relaxation with their attention narrowed down, and focused on appropriate suggestions made by the therapist.”

The general conception that hypnosis is all about waving watches, behaving like animals, and controlling people’s mind is totally false. I can tell you because I have a couple of hypnosis cds that I use on a daily basis and I am yet to do anything against my wish.

In any hypnosis session, You ARE ALWAYS in control and you CANNOT be made to do anything against your will. Ultimately, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis and a hypnotist merely facilitates your experience.

If you meet someone and they tell you that they can hypnotise you to do something, ask them to hypnotise you to rob a bank at gunpoint, if they can’t ask them to stop making ridiculous claims.
