I have to be honest and say it was really hard to resist the promises and the glamorous images of the Acai Berry Adverts.

It was everywhere you looked on the internet and I could not help but consider taking up the special offer. After all who could resist the thought of going from fat to thin simply by taking a pill that will melt all the fat without you changing your eating habits and never breaking a sweat in the gym.

But how untrue are all the claims. Turns out Acai Berry was one of the biggest diet pill  hoax of the 21st century. It contains less anti-oxidants than blue berries and black cherries and a quotes from the attorney general of Connecticut

“There is no competent scientific research that demonstrates any of the claimed effects of Acai berry, including weight loss, detoxification and increased energy and vitality”

And on Oprah’s website she said:

“Consumers should be aware that Oprah Winfrey is not associated with nor does she endorse any açaí berry product or online solicitation of such products.”

So if Oprah never endorsed it and the attorney general states there was no scientific backing for the claims made about Acai Berry, have we all been scammed? The Answer – Yes!

But what works?

My friend the only way to lose weight is to eat less, and an even better way is to eat accroding to your nutritional type. You also need to excercise. Making all these changes on your own can be challenging and often times daunting to say the least but here is where you get help.

The answer from my experience is No! All hypnosis is ultimately self hypnosis and the hypnotist merely facilitates the process for you.

Hypnosis cannot make you do anything against your wish and instead of losing control, you will actually gain more control and increase yourself esteem and self confidence.

The way hypnosis is portrayed by the media is nothing at all like the real thing.

Can I listen while sleeping?
No, if your desire is to maximise the benefits of your sessions. It is not advisable to listen while lying on the bed neither can you listening while driving or operating any machinery.

It is advisable though to be in a relaxed position during your listening sessions. I tend to sit up but relax my head back and stretch my legs. Essentially I try to find the most comfortable position possible.

1. One Questions that gets asked again and again is “How do I know If The Hypnosis Sessions Are Working?”
The more often you listen to the sessions the easier it is for you to go into hypnosis, as you are familiar with the process and you find it easier to relax and even enjoy the session.

Remember though that the experience of hypnosis is different for everyone. The best way to tell the effects of your listening sessions is to notice the decisions you now make when it comes to food and exercise. You will notice that it is becoming easier and easier to make the right decisions.

One amazing thing I noticed was that I began to see junk food for what they really are – Junk. I began to noticed that all processed foods are produced by so that the manufacturing companies could line their own pockets with money. I truly understood that they did not have my interest at heart, they never did.

Truly understanding that fact made it a lot easier for me to say no to take aways, MacDonald’s, kfc, pizza and the whole lot. Don’t get me wrong, I can have them if if want to but I don’t see them as a treat anymore neither do I find them irresistible.

I also have noticed that I find water more interesting, believe it or not, cold water especially. I still have fizzy drinks now and then but I now prefer water with my meals.

Does Hypnosis really work?

This is a very common question that get asked again and again and I will do my best to answer this question and some of the other most frequently asked questions about hypnosis in the next couple of posts.

Hypnosis is a very powerful tool for bringing about personal change, but the key to a successful hypnosis program is not only the quality and experience of the hypnotherapist, but also how often you use it.

I use hypnosis and subliminal cds everyday for different aspects of my life, and the key to using such tools to achieve your desired goals is to use them repeatedly. If possible daily.

The biggest problem most people have and that was a problem I had as well when I started using these tools, is that you expect to use them a few times and expect that you will become a totally new person. I am afraid it does not work that way.

Look at it this way, do you expect to exercise for a couple of times a week and expect that that it will be enough for the rest of your life? If you want to be healthy, you have to make exercise a daily part of your regime. So it is with hypnosis and subliminal tapes.

You need to listen to them regularly, in fact I would suggest daily. I use mine daily. The usual length of a good hypnosis or subliminal program is about 30min and in that time you do nothing but lie down, relax and just take some time to yourself. I mean how easy is that?

The Secret To making these CDs work for you is to use them repeatedly until you have internalised the new habits you want to form.

I have to be honest and say this may be a little difficult at first. The fact the you have to set aside 30min everyday and do absolutely nothing can be a bit daunting for most people. I know it was for me, but guess what? After a little while, It took me about 2 weeks, you will begin to look forward to your sessions.
